Best All Rounders of IPL 2020
The 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) is slated to get underway from September 19. Every year, the Indian Premier League produces some heart-warming contests and all-rounders shoulder the responsibilities of overturning fortunes in their respective franchise’s favour. All-rounders always play a very crucial role in a cricket match. In IPL history, we experience every year how the all-rounders play strong effective roles for their team.
Let us take some time to look ahead at a few all-rounders who will be gold dust for their respective sides and to watch out for in IPL 2020. It is a well-known fact that if a team possesses a quality all-rounder the entire balance of the side gets a notch higher.
Hardik Pandya (Mumbai Indians)
Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya hasn’t played a recognised cricket match since last September due to the back surgery. Indian cricket fans will put a keen eye on Hardik’s performances during the IPL 2020. In the last year, he played vital roles for the Mumbai Indians to win the IPL trophy as the right-handed batsman scored 402 runs and right-arm pacer took 14 wickets in 16 matches. In his IPL career, Hardik has played 66 matches where he has scored 1068 runs and also got 42 wickets.
Ravindra Jadeja (Chennai Super Kings)
The spinning all-rounder of Chennai Super Kings is an indispensable cog for the franchise on those spinning surfaces in the UAE. Jadeja is at his best when the pitch grips a little and he is able to complete his lot of overs in no time. The 31-year-old is one of the star all-rounders that everyone will have their keen eye on during IPL 2020.Jadeja has evolved immensely as a batsman in the last few years. He has shown his class in difficult situations and led the CSK charge with the bat in hand. On top of that Jadeja is a gun fielder which will end up saving several runs in the field.
Marcus Stoinis (Royal Challengers Bangalore)
All the previous seasons of the Indian premier league, whenever we have looked at the Royal Challengers Bangalore team on paper, they never had a proper all-rounder. But this year, in IPL 2020 they seem to have solved the problem by bringing in an in-form Marcus Stoinis. He is an experienced IPL player and also had a great Big Bash season.
Andre Russell (Kolkata Knight Riders)
This team has not one but two of the best all-rounders in world cricket at the moment. Andre Russell is a middle order batsman who can come in during a pressure situation and smash the ball out. He is an excellent baller who can also take some crucial wickets in the death overs of the match.
Shane Watson (Rajasthan Royals)
Shane Watson is one player who brings vital experience to the side with his classy batting skills, and he also is a good bowling option for Dhoni. He has had an excellent cricket season and is in the form of his life right now. Even though we couldn’t see much of him in the beginning of the season, we have seen him in the right form in the recent matches.
We will see what the results are at the end of the season. But till then let us enjoy each moment as it comes. With the help of the cricket live streaming, each player will get the love and respect he deserves from the audience.
