Why CSK is losing matches back to back in IPL 2020?
Chennai super kings is one of the most loved IPL teams. Sometimes we have to face huge losses in life and the same scenario is with CSK that we witnessed in the past few matches. Losing and winning are a part of the game but in this blog, we will learn what are the reasons due to which our beloved team is losing. Murali Vijay played a wonderful, exquisite, and amazing run, a ball knock of 21, in the second game against Rajasthan Royals where CSK needed almost 217 runs to win in 120 balls. Well, that's the biggest problem. Although chasing a mammoth score like 200 +, chewing balls at the top of the order doesn't help in cricket IPL or any cricket tournament. The amazing Murali Vijay once again proved that he is a genius by scoring 10 runs off 15 balls and Shane Watson was not far behind by scoring 14 out of 16 balls. Today was no different (the second game vs Delhi Capitals). Now that's a start when the team needed them to blast off from the word go, given by both the openers. I know it's not easy and no one plays that deliberatelydelays an inning, but if you can't time the ball and score freely, get out and go, let others give it a try. At the top of the order, team management wants to talk about the batting. It's easy and simple, and a successful opening partnership is something that lays the foundation when chasing a big number.
The middle-order consists of Rituraj Gaikwad, Kedar Jadhav, Sam Curran, Jadeja, and Dhoni (he is usually more interested in watching the match than batting). All the middle order was going on in both matches was trying to rotate the strike and search for a loose ball tohit a four or a six, if it's all coming your way.Dhoni comes to fight down the order at No. 7 and when asked is giving lame excuses, saying he's testing out his players, if so sir you have lost 2 matches in the testing process, and in a tournament like IPL 5–6 back to back loses while helping you not make the playoffs. Dhoni is trying to do the impossible by taking the game to the wire and snatching victory from the jaws of defeat, which was really possible during your prime, not now when you retired. Even if Dhoni fires on all cylinders, he wants the help he doesn't get at the other end. As in the first game, he came at number 7 when the game was almost over and hit four consecutive sixes showing the world that he still has that in him to make the unthinkable possible. Instead of trying to be a hero if he had come to No. 5 and held the ship when the team needed, CSK would have won easily. I am a big fan of Dhoni and I love his bowling, his leadership skills, his presence of mind, hiscricketing acumen, but here he's calling all shots wrong. If Dhoni had beaten up the order, CSK would have won both matches. These are some of the reasons why I feel that CSK is losing. I hope our beloved team will give a great comeback.
