Indian Premier League started in the year of 2008, founded by BCCI (the Board
of Control for Cricket in India). It is the most favourite game of Indian people.
The IPL is the most-attended cricket league in the world and in 2014 ranked
sixth by average attendance among all sports leagues. Every year eight teams
take part in the game, the names of current teams are Royal Challengers
Bangalore, Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals, Kings XI
Punjab, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Sunrisers Hyderabad. All the
teams are giving their full effort to win the tournament but there will only be
one team who will win. If we want to count three teams who have are on the
top of the IPL 2020 are the following –
1) Delhi Capitals
Delhi Capitals players are showing their talent on the field very effectively. Till
date they played 5 matches and won four matches. This team has lost only one
match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. DC captain Shreyas Iyer’s performance
was quite normal. If we talk about the runs so far, his total run is 181 in five
matches.
2) Kolkata Knight Riders
Kolkata Knight Riders have won two matches out of four. Two matches they
lost against Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians. This team has taken seven
wickets of Sunrisers Hyderabad. Dinesh Karthik is the captain of this team, but
his run score is very low, 37 in four matches. But somehow, they have
managed to win two matches just because of the good performance of the
other teammates.
3) Royal Challengers Bangalore
Royal Challengers Bangalore have played five matches and out of five they
have won three. In their 2 nd match against Mumbai Indians the match was tied,
but Royal Challengers Bangalore won the Super Over. The captain of the team
Virat Kohli’s performance was not very impressive till now but his team is
playing very well.
4) Chennai Super Kings
Chennai Super Kings have played five matches till date and out of which they
have won 2 matches, the captain of the team MS Dhoni could not give his best
performance but although as we know that he is one of the best player of
world, so we can assume that in the next games he will improve his game and
that will definitely lead to their win. Faf du Plessis is one of the strongest
players of this team. He is very much close to the Orange Cap. His run Score is
282 which is the second highest score of IPL 2020 till date.
